The standard we target

Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.2, Level AA. We describe this as a target rather than a certification, because an accessibility claim that has not been independently audited should be stated as an intention.

What is implemented

Text contrast on this site meets or exceeds the 4.5:1 ratio required for body copy, and large display text meets the 3:1 requirement. The accent color used for links and interactive text is the darker of the two ember tones specifically because the lighter one does not pass against a cream background.

Every interactive element is reachable by keyboard and shows a visible focus indicator. A skip link is the first focusable item on every page. The mobile navigation traps focus while open, closes on Escape, and returns focus to the button that opened it. Headings are properly nested and each page has exactly one first-level heading.

All motion on this site is decorative and is disabled entirely when your system indicates a preference for reduced motion , including the animated highlight on the primary button, which stops rather than being replaced with a substitute effect. Content is never hidden behind an animation: if scripting fails or is disabled, everything remains visible and readable.

Forms use real labels rather than placeholder text as labels, mark required fields in text as well as visually, and announce validation errors to assistive technology.

Known limitations

We have not commissioned an independent audit. Long-form archive material migrated from the firm's previous site may contain heading structures or link text that do not fully meet the standard, and we are working through it. Where you find something, telling us is the fastest route to it being fixed.
